Class Policies

  • Registration and pre-payment is required to save your spot.
  • If you need to withdraw from a class for which you are registered, please give 24 hours notice in order to receive a refund or credit.
  • Our Basic Bracelets class has all materials included, but for most classes, you will need to purchase your own materials.
  • Materials are available at The Bead Gallery at a 15% discount to class participants. Be sure to mention that the purchases you are making are for a class so we can be sure to give you your discount.
  • Classes will run if there are two or more people enrolled. If you are the only person enrolled in a class, we will offer the class to you as a private lesson at private lesson rates. If you do not wish to take a private lesson, we will issue you a credit or refund.

Classes are divided into #1 classes, which are suitable for any level of beading expertise, including beginner, and #2 classes, which are more suitable for those with some experience. The Bead Gallery staff will be happy to answer any questions you may have about classes.

Weoven Rivolio Pendant #1 - Woven Rivoli Pendant

Seed beads and 4 mm glass rounds come together to create an elegant, delicate setting for a Swarovski rivoli (large rhinestone-shaped crystal.) This project goes together quickly under Brittany’s direction.

Basic Stringing #1 - Basic Stringing
$35 Materials Included
Instructor: Becky

Learn basic stringing and finishing techniques while making both a necklace and a bracelet. There are a number of tips and methods you need to know in order to help you create jewelry designs that are, not only comfortable and aesthetically pleasing, but also well and safely made. You will learn about different stringing materials, fitting techniques as well as two (2) different methods for securing crimps.

Traditional Pearl Knotting #1 - Pearl Knotting (Traditional Pearl Knotting on Silk)

Create a traditionally knotted pearl bracelet on silk, tying a knot between each pearl and finishing by attaching a clasp using French wire. Then learn how to make a "floating pearl" necklace with knotted pearls and exposed silk thread, finishing with bead tips to attach a clasp.

This simple macramé bracelet combines cord and beads and adjusts to fit your wrist. Choose square knots, half-hitch knots, or a combination of both.
